“Healing and Coping: Art Through Grief” Art Exhibit

Entry Form

November is Children’s Grief Awareness Month. Supporting Kidds will be having an Art Exhibit to showcase children’s expressions of grief. Below is the Entry Form if you would like your child’s work to be displayed.

If the child is under eighteen (18) years of age, this form must be co-signed by a parent or guardian. All entries must be accompanied by this signed entry form.

Acceptable work: two and three dimensional art (maximum size 30” x 30”), written words (short plays, poetry, or short stories with a maximum length of 10 pages), and musical numbers (with a maximum ‘me of 5 minutes).

In partnership with Mariposa Arts, a local organization, we are looking for artwork from our Supporting Kidds families to be showcased in "Healing Through the Arts" exhibit on November 10 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Center for Creative Arts in Hockessin.

Mariposa Arts will be providing an opportunity for children to create art for the exhibit on November 2 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Supporting Kidds. We would love to see your child’s artwork on display at the exhibit! Please come out on November 2 to create art with us!

I understand that Supporting Kidds, and any sponsors, are not responsible for loss or damage to my artwork. The location will be secured and we will handle all entries carefully. I grant permission to Supporting Kidds to use, copy, publish, and display my artwork/written work/video for reproduction and promotional purposes as they see fit without compensation to me, including the use of my photograph, if taken at Supporting Kidds. Only the first name and last initial of children’s names will be used publicly.
